The Gallery @ EcoPDX is humbled and happy to feature art by Rachel Harvey. You'll have to visit the gallery to see what I mean, because photographs and the word 'prolific' doesn't do her artwork enough justice. What makes great landscapes work, is not just honestly capturing the scene, but rather, it's how light is conveyed from the open air through the eyes and soul of the artist. It doesn't matter how direct or abstract her work is, because Rachel's play between real and surreal is what keeps you appreciating her work over and over again.
