Even if Scott didn't paint music and jazz subjects, his work would still be inherently musical. There are elements of cubism in his work as well as embracing color that moves fluid in its ability to convey feelings in abstraction. In other words, his work can be rather brilliant. It's an amazing feeling to view art that effectively possesses a style uniquely the artists own. We currently are showing one painting of his of the Burnside Bridge, but keep your eye out for Scott returning to EcoPDX this summer.
